Thought I'd post an update to whats going in in Eva land.

For the last two months I decided to approach writing a new album slightly differently, I've been doing a lot of synthesizer programming and sample library building since the middle of September before I start writing songs in December. It's all going really good at this moment.

So what will it sound like? Well I can give you a bit of a low down, I mean it's going to be a progression from Scavenger, there will be less guitars, more electronics but to the motto of "No dance tracks". I may contradict myself there so don't put money on that. But as I've been hearing from people that they like it because it sounds like a modern version of older industrial, well I have to say "Thanks!" I really appreciate that but I actually didn't want to sound older (Laughs). So I'm going to be conscious about moving forward rather than backward. It'll be fresh but still retain a similar rhythm style as Scavenger, but more intense.

I aim to have a release in September 2010 or before if I'm lucky.

The name of the new album will be revealed in the next coming months along with a screen shot of the cover art work.

I was thinking the same thing.

it's great to hear someone doing EBM & drawing from the original source ethic rather than making aggrotrech or futurepop purporting to be Industrial/EBM.

I have noticed my music has become a a lot more EBM in the traditional sense of the term.

I suppose it's hard to make a club friendly track without resorting to standard distorted 4/4 bass drum and snare without just sounding like an average Aggrotech track these days.

Therein lies my problem with making any future club songs - I'm pretty much useless at doing it ;)

ps.. jadeka was a club friendly song but I hate it. :S
